Discuss the songs, cover art, inside booklet, etc of Blur's seventh album, "Think Tank".

This album is severely underrated - it seems like there is a lot of undue hate for it (Allmusic gave it 2 stars for chrissakes!). Yes, it is in some ways the sound of the band falling apart because of Graham's departure and a premonition of Damon's solo work/other creative endeavors, but there are some truly great songs here, especially "Ambulance", "Caravan", and "Good Song" (that one used to almost make me cry because he sounds so sad here and the music is so melancholy - and then I saw the silly video, hehe).

There does seem to be a lot of hate based on it being a virtually Coxon-less album. I do actually like it for the feel, the progression and originality (that sadly many fans were not ready for). Sweet Song is one of my favs.

It's quite silly but I've been avoiding hearing this one because I just hate growing attached to something that is so maligned, particularly if it's by an artist I really admire. :/
I looove the artwork, though.

! You've got to listen to it! It has, oddly, sort of a melancholy-happiness to it. I suppose it could be filed under the same category as The Libertines' second album for being a bit of a chronicle of a band splitting apart and yet strangely pleasant to listen to...and it's on full-stream on Last.fm, no excuses. www.last.fm/music/Blur/Think%2520Tank

Oh my dog. My mum loves this album so much, it's so funny. I have to admit, it's one of my favourite albums. Some parts are just so silly, like Crazy Beat, but some of the others are just so amazing and lovely and fantastic! I really like Out of Time and Sweet Song. So heart-warming! So nice!
